Paleo Chocolate Chip Walnut Banana Bread


This bread gets all the sweetness it needs from a generous handful of dark chocolate chips, but feel free to add a few tablespoons of honey or maple syrup if you like it even sweeter!


Paleo Chocolate Chip Walnut Banana Bread

Serves 6


  • 2 cups almond flour

  • 2 ripe bananas

  • 2 eggs

  • 3 tablespoons melted coconut oil (can sub olive or avocado oil)

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/3 cup chopped walnuts

  • 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips 


  1. Preheat the oven to 350. Add all ingredients except chocolate chips and walnuts to a blender and blend until smooth. Fold in the chocolate chips and walnuts.

  2. Pour into a greased 9 x 5 loaf pan and top with additional chocolate and walnuts if desired. Baked for 30-40 minutes until edges are slightly brown.
