Chick'n & Waffle Bites

Breakfast for dinner is a fun way to switch things up! These bites come together in less than 30 minutes using Birch Benders Paleo Waffles and Gardein Seven Grain Crispy Tenders. I paired them with a spicy maple syrup and got all my ingredients at Sprouts, my go-to for quality, affordable ingredients. This recipe is great for kids, just skip the hot sauce!

Serves 4

  • 1 bag Gardein Seven Grain Crispy Tenders

  • 1 box Birch Benders Paleo Toaster Waffles

  • ¼ cup maple syrup

  • 3 Tbsp. hot sauce

  • 3 Tbsp. melted butter

  • Toothpicks

  1. Preheat your oven or toaster oven to 430 degrees. Bake the chick’n tenders for 16-20 minutes, turning once halfway through, until crispy.

  2. While the tenders cook, toast the waffles on low until crispy and stir together the maple syrup, hot sauce and melted butter in a small bowl.

  3. Slice each waffle into fourths. Assemble the bites by topping one piece of waffle with one chick’n tender and a drizzle of sauce. Top with another piece of waffle and secure with a toothpick.

  4. Serve with remaining sauce for dipping.
