BLT Salad


All the goods of a BLT without the bread, this is not your average sad salad.

BLT Salad

Serves 4



  • 2 heads romaine lettuce, chopped

  • ½ pound uncured sugar-free bacon, cooked and crumbled

  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes, sliced in half

  • 2 hard boiled eggs, sliced

  • ½ red onion, thinly sliced

  • ½ avocado, sliced


  • ½ cup olive oil

  • ¼ cup red wine vinegar

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ¼ teaspoon pepper


  1. Add the romaine to a large bowl and top with crumbled bacon, cherry tomatoes, hard boiled eggs, red onion and avocado.

  2. In a small bowl, stir together the dressing ingredients and pour over the salad. Toss well and serve.
